Mercer Mass Timber (formerly known as Structurlam) produces engineered wood products, particularly mass timber solutions. They are known for their expertise in designing, engineering, and manufacturing structural components made from wood, such as Cross-Laminated Timber (CLT) panels and Glue-Laminated Timber (Glulam) beams. Completed in 2022, oN5 in Vancouver, BC is the organization’s latest project which involved mass timber design-assist, mass timber material supply, and on-site mass timber install assist. Arbios Biotech uses cutting-edge technology to convert wood residues and biomass into renewable biofuels that can be used for low-carbon transportation and sustainable biochemicals. Their technology specializes in the conversion of lignin, a natural polymer found in wood, into valuable bio-based products. Lignin is a complex organic compound that is a byproduct of various processes in the pulp and paper industry.
